Motion Maps Passport

Privacy Policy

Effective date: November 4, 2026

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

Motion Maps operates the Motion Maps Passport website and membership service at motionmapsreno.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with accounts, subscriptions, bar offers, redemptions, customer support, analytics and optional communications.

Email motionmapsreno@gmail.com with the subject Privacy Request to ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. You may also use our Contact page.

2. Information We Collect

Account and profile information: your name, email address, account identifier, authentication information managed by our platform, membership status and preferences. We may retain optional referral, ambassador or organization information you previously supplied.

Membership and billing information: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, billing status, purchase and renewal dates, payment and refund records, and subscription cancellation information. Stripe collects and processes payment-card details. Motion Maps does not store raw card numbers, card expiration dates or CVC codes.

Passport activity: Passport opens, promotion views, selected bars and offers, credits used, redemption and Secret Drop claim records, timestamps, referral attribution and related fraud-prevention records.

Communications: contact requests, complaints, survey answers, cancellation feedback and screenshots you choose to submit. Avoid including payment-card information, passwords, government ID images or information about other people in uploads.

Optional SMS information: the US mobile number you submit, your date of birth for the SMS age check, your consent or withdrawal choice, the date and time, collection source and the disclosure version shown. A birthday is not required to decline texts. We do not display it on your public profile or provide it to participating bars.

Technical information: the website and its hosting, authentication and payment providers may receive IP addresses, browser and device information, request logs, error records and browser-storage identifiers needed to operate and protect their services.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, administer subscriptions, verify paid access, provide offers, process redemptions, prevent fraud, respond to support requests and handle billing issues.

We use activity and feedback to understand how Passport is used, measure referrals, calculate business performance and improve the service. Live Motion presents aggregate recent member activity, not a public list of individual customers.

We use optional SMS information to document your choice, check that a submitted birthday meets the 21+ requirement and honor withdrawals. Sending marketing texts requires a separate, affirmative opt-in; creating an account, purchasing a membership or accepting our general Terms does not provide SMS consent.

4. When We Disclose Information

Service providers: we use Base44 for application hosting, authentication and data services and Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing. Our selected messaging provider is Klaviyo. When a messaging integration is enabled, Klaviyo, carriers and necessary delivery or verification providers may process the information required to operate that program. Wallet services such as PassKit may process relevant pass or membership information when a Wallet feature is used.

Participating venues: authorized bar staff or owners may see records related to offers redeemed or claimed at their own venue, including promotion details, dates, credits and relevant member identifiers, names or email addresses available in their restricted analytics. They are not granted access to your SMS consent, SMS birthday, payment-card details or another venue's private analytics.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect people and the service, investigate fraud or enforce our terms. If ownership of the business changes, account and service records may transfer subject to applicable law and privacy protections.

SMS-specific restriction: mobile numbers collected for Passport Texts, SMS opt-in data and SMS consent status are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or unrelated purposes. Necessary messaging service providers may process them only to help operate, secure and honor preferences for our messaging program. This SMS restriction applies notwithstanding any other disclosure described in this policy.

5. Cookies, Browser Storage and Tracking

The application uses local or session storage and related technologies for sign-in, age acknowledgement, tutorial preferences, consent prompts and referral attribution. Product activity events help us understand Passport opens, offer views and redemptions. Clearing storage or blocking essential technologies may affect sign-in or preferences.

We do not currently install cross-site advertising pixels in the Passport application code. External hosting, authentication, payment and messaging services may collect information when their services are used on this and other websites, subject to their own privacy notices. Browser Do Not Track signals do not currently change the application's behavior.

The current Passport Texts flow does not send abandoned-cart or abandoned-checkout reminders. We will disclose the tracking and reminder practices before enabling any such SMS feature.

6. Location Information

The current Passport experience does not request precise GPS or continuous device-location access. A bar you select or redeem at is recorded with the activity; that record is not independent proof of your physical presence. Technical providers may infer an approximate region from an IP address. We do not use the SMS birthday or consent record to track your movements.

7. Optional Marketing and Your Choices

Passport Texts is optional and intended for adults 21 and older with eligible US mobile numbers. Its purpose is to provide Motion Maps updates about eligible events, VIP nights, offers and Secret Drops. Offer eligibility, age restrictions, availability and separate promotion rules still apply.

The new website opt-in currently collects preferences only; outbound marketing texts and automatic transfer of these new records to Klaviyo are not enabled. Existing choices without the required SMS birthday record must be reviewed and refreshed before they are used for an age-gated program.

Once messaging is enabled, reply STOP to the number sending our messages to opt out, or HELP for assistance. You can also turn off Passport texts in Account or email motionmapsreno@gmail.com. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. We do not charge an additional fee for the text program. See SMS Terms for details.

Marketing emails have their own unsubscribe controls. SMS, email, security messages and membership billing are separate: declining or withdrawing marketing consent does not cancel your subscription, and canceling a subscription does not by itself withdraw previously given marketing consent.

8. Access, Corrections and Privacy Requests

You can update available profile details and preferences in Account. To request access, correction or deletion, or to exercise applicable privacy rights, email motionmapsreno@gmail.com with Privacy Request in the subject line. Nevada residents may also use this address to submit a request directing us not to sell covered information.

We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will handle requests under applicable law and explain any retention or other limitations. Some information may need to be retained for billing, disputes, fraud prevention, legal obligations or to ensure that we do not send further marketing after an opt-out.

Privacy requests are not subscription cancellation requests. Use the membership cancellation controls in Account to stop future renewals, or contact us for help.

9. Retention and Security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing accounts and memberships, maintaining transaction and redemption history, resolving complaints, preventing fraud, documenting consent and withdrawals, and meeting legal obligations. Different record types may have different retention periods. Information that is no longer needed is removed or de-identified, subject to legitimate retention requirements and backup cycles.

We use access restrictions and other reasonable safeguards, but no online service or transmission is completely secure. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or government identification through support forms.

10. Age Restrictions, Other Websites and Policy Changes

Passport is intended for people 21 and older, not children. If you believe an underage person has provided information or used the service, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. The SMS birthday check is not a substitute for a venue's government-ID check.

Links to bars, Stripe, Wallet services or other websites may take you to services with their own policies. Review their notices before supplying information.

We will post an updated policy and effective date here when practices change. For material changes, we will provide an appropriate additional notice, such as a website notice or account communication, and request consent where required. Policy changes do not retroactively opt anyone into marketing.
